Welcome to my little web site.
Nothing is fancy here, and it will be necessary for olden days procedures
(a telephone call, an envelope with a stamp) in order to complete any
transaction.
My products have a days gone by theme and texture, and I
totally believe in having contact with the people that I do business with.
This site is just a sampling of what I can produce for your needs. If you
don't see what you are looking for, ask for it: by phone, by mail, by
e-mail. I will respond as soon as I am able.

Company Profile
CROSSROAD SIGNS CO., USA has been in business since 1986. Our marketing
efforts have concentrated on auto events, street festivals, and craft
fairs. Since inception this has been a family owned and operated
business which has allowed strict adherence to quality standards. Our
location has changed numerous times due to divorce, financial considerations,
family death, health considerations. You may have done business with us
when we were in Chicago area, Atlanta area, Louisville area, Southern California
or now in the Pacific Northwest.
All our sign products are of our own creation, and are made to
exacting highway usage standards, so they are useable outdoors for years
without deteriorating. All of my products are wholly made in the
United States of America--period!
The steel signs are made from 18 gauge steel.
To give you a reference point, that is steel that is thicker than your car or
those of Nascar are made with. A typical 6" by 32" street sign will weigh
about 2 pounds 5 ounces. There are "look a likes" in the marketplace that
weigh only a few ounces and will bend with the slightest pressure. Our
ROUTE 66 signs weigh about 4 pounds versus about 4 ounces for the smaller tin
signs that have long been sold everywhere--and they don't even use the correct
font for the letters or the numerals.
I've hesitated setting up a web site for years because it is not
possible to convey the weight, workmanship, size of my products on a screen or
printed page. When at events, I always put a sign in the hands of a
customer, and watch the reaction when they heft the sign. Typically they
remark, "It's much heavier than I thought it was."
Then when I tell them the price they'll say, "That's less than I
thought it would be." So be prepared to be pleasantly surprised when your
sign arrives at your place. You will never be embarrassed to give one of
our products as a gift for birthdays, dads/moms days, graduations, promotions,
and the usual religious holidays. When it comes to gag gifts, frankly, our
products may be too good.
I look forward to doing business with you.
