Route 66 Clothes
Wear Clothing Depicting The Mother Road
Can you imagine a route 66 pub in Scotland,
a route 66 sports bar in London England or a route 66 unisex
fashion clothing store in Ireland? How about a route 66 US vintage
clothing store in Melbourne, Australia?
Seems like the world has not only embraced
America’s most famous and beloved highway, they are simply
crazy for the mother road. Route 66 is an American legend and will
always be a very important part of our great American culture.
For anyone who has ever traveled old
route 66 or longs to travel the mother road or even better, plans
to travel west along America’s main street sometime soon,
Crossroads Sign Company offers beautiful route
66 clothing including shield sign t-shirts and ball caps.
Crossroads Exclusive Route 66 Clothes
Our route 66 clothes are designed to
be educational about the mother road. We focus on the road itself,
celebrating the historic old route 66 highway with printed t-shirts
and ball caps. The prints on our route 66 clothes may depict a
vintage 1929 map of old route 66 or the memorable shield sign that
was the signature of the state highway signs.
Get your kicks
with a route
66 map & shield t-shirt that celebrates the role of old
route 66 in song and television. The route 66 road map on
this clothing shows the location of only those towns named in Bobby
Troup's 1946 song "Get your kicks on route 66".
Here’s
a wonderful route
66 T with an old 1929 scaled map reproduction showing all the
towns along the mother road. It is interesting to note that in
1929 route 66 actually went through Santa Fe, New Mexico. However,
since old route 66 was continually being realigned and improved
the total mileage of the mother road became less and Santa Fe was
sacrificed along the way.
The "historical
US 66" shield design of this route 66 t-shirt celebrates
the historic nature that "The Mother Road"
has played in American history.
In his famous Route 66 song Bobby Troup's
lyrics encouraged us to "get your kicks on route 66".
The mother road stretched from Chicago to L.A.
Going from shore
to shore, route 66 began at the intersection of Michigan Avenue (which
paralled the shore of Lake Micigan) and Jackson Avenue, and terminated
at the Santa Monica pier in Santa Monica, California. Where route 66
became the “road to opportunity”
California became the destination of hundreds of thousands during
the great migration of the depression era. This California
US route 66 t-shirt commemorates our most populace state.
This is an awesome glow-in-the-dark
route 66 t-shirt that emulates the old “cats eye”
reflectors used on signs circa the 1950's and 60's. The movie
“Cars” from Pixar Studios uses a route 66 sign much
like this one, except they added the word route, which never really
was on any highway marker sign for any of our US state highways.
For all the times
I have traveled both old route 66 (in my youth) and historic route
66 (in my later years), this seen-it-all-done-it-all
t-shirt design seems to sum it up best.
All route 66 t-shirts are pre-shrunk
Hanes Beefy Tees, which are the hallmark in the industry. Ask any
screen printer and they will tell you that 100% heavyweight cotton
shows color better, holds its shape longer and retains a printed
design much longer. Cotton is also a very breathable fabric.
We Also Sell Old Route 66 Signs
These mother road signs are manufactured
using the very same sign fabricating equipment and dies that were

signs and parking
signs plus custom made personalized
aluminum signs and personalized
