Old Route 66 Map Featured In Two T-Shirt
Designs
 The first Route 66 Map
T-Shirt is meant to celebrate the role that US
route 66 played in Bobby’s Troup's 1946 penned ode to
the mother road, "Get Your Kicks On Route 66".
The t-shirt’s printed route 66
map is set in the memorable highway shield design and depicts only
those towns named in Troup's song including St. Louie, Joplin Missouri,
Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Gallup New Mexico, Flagstaff Arizona (& Winona),
Kingman, Barstow and San Bernardino.

66 is estimated to be approximately 2448 miles long, over the years
the highway experienced numerous realignments. There were literally
hundreds of small towns and communities along the mother road that
have since withered and died. This old route 66 road map reproduction
lists most of these towns and if you take a closer look you’ll
notice that at one time the mother road also passed through Santa
Fe, New Mexico and Oatman, Arizona.
