The design on this shirt is the result of my many trips on
the old route. I came upon a photo of this sign, which is circa
1950's-60's, that was made of wood, with cats eye reflectors being the dots. I
remembered that I indeed had seen signs like the one shown in the photograph.
I realized that I could make a shirt that would exemplify
that sign. By exposing the shirt to sunlight the dots will glow in the dark.
How effectively? My Cocker Spaniel "Marty's Pal of ROUTE 66" began
growling at the sight of the shirt in the dark!
As with all our tees, they are Hanes Beefy T's,100% pre-shrunk heavyweight
cotton.
